LEADERSHIP TEAM

Godly Leadership

Scripture: 1 Timothy 3; Titus 1

Godly leadership begins with character, integrity, faithfulness, and a servant's heart. Scripture gives clear qualifications for those entrusted with leadership in God's church.

The Leadership Team is responsible for providing spiritual direction, protecting the biblical integrity of the church, making wise decisions, and helping equip God's people to fulfill the mission of Three Rivers Cowboy Church.

Leadership is not about position or authority for personal gain. It is about serving Christ and serving His people.

Our principle:

We lead by example, serve with humility, and make decisions according to God's Word.

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26

SAFETY TEAM

Godly Protection

Scripture: 1 Timothy 5:8

God has given us a responsibility to care for the people He has entrusted to us. Our Safety Team exists to help provide a safe, welcoming environment where people can worship, fellowship, learn, and serve without unnecessary fear or distraction.

Safety is more than responding to problems. It means being prepared, observant, responsible, and willing to serve before a problem occurs.

Our Safety Team watches over our church family, assists during services and special events, and works to protect children, families, guests, volunteers, and church property.

Our principle:

We protect others because people matter to God.

“Anyone who does not provide for their relatives... has denied the faith.” — 1 Timothy 5:8

Note: While 1 Timothy 5:8 specifically addresses responsibility to provide for one's household, we apply the broader biblical principle of faithful responsibility and care to our ministry of safety.

PRAYER TEAM

Pray About Everything

Scripture: Philippians 4:6

Prayer is not simply another ministry of the church—it is the foundation underneath everything we do.

The Prayer Team is committed to praying for our church, our pastor and leaders, our families, our community, those who are hurting, and those who need to know Jesus Christ.

We believe there is no concern too small, no situation too difficult, and no person too far from God to bring before Him.

Our principle:

Before we work, we pray. While we work, we pray. After we work, we pray.

“In every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” — Philippians 4:6

CHUCKWAGON TEAM

Breaking Bread & Building Fellowship

Scripture: Acts 2:46

Food has a special place in the life of our church—not simply because we enjoy eating, but because sharing a meal creates opportunities for fellowship, conversation, friendship, and ministry.

The Chuck Wagon Team helps create those opportunities by preparing and serving food for church gatherings, special events, and fellowship activities.

Acts 2:46 describes the early believers breaking bread together with glad and sincere hearts. We want our Chuck Wagon ministry to reflect that same spirit.

Our principle:

We use food and fellowship to bring people together and create opportunities to build relationships.

“They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” — Acts 2:46

KIDS TEAM

Teaching the Next Generation

Scripture: Proverbs 22:6

Children are not simply the future of the church—they are part of the church today.

The Kids Team has the privilege and responsibility of helping children learn who Jesus is, understand God's Word, and develop a foundation of faith that can guide them throughout their lives.

We believe parents have the primary responsibility for raising their children in the faith, and the church comes alongside families to encourage, equip, teach, and support them.

Our principle:

We invest in children today so they can know, love, and serve Jesus tomorrow.

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

BUILDING & GROUNDS TEAM

Faithful Stewardship

Scripture: Matthew 25:14–30

Everything we have ultimately belongs to God—including our buildings, property, equipment, and resources.

The Building & Grounds Team helps us faithfully care for what God has entrusted to Three Rivers Cowboy Church.

Jesus' parable of the talents teaches us that God expects His people to be faithful stewards of what He places in their hands. We don't simply maintain property; we care for a resource that God has provided for ministry.

A clean, safe, maintained, and welcoming facility can help remove distractions and create an environment where people can encounter God's people and hear God's Word.

Our principle:

We take care of what God has entrusted to us so it can be used for His purposes.

“Well done, good and faithful servant!” — Matthew 25:23

EVENTS TEAM

Making the Most of Every Opportunity

Scripture: Colossians 4:5; Colossians 3:23; Galatians 6:10

Events at Three Rivers Cowboy Church are more than activities on a calendar. They are opportunities for ministry.

Whether we are hosting a rodeo, fellowship gathering, community event, outreach activity, or church celebration, we want to use every opportunity wisely.

Colossians 4:5 reminds us to make the most of every opportunity. Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work wholeheartedly as though we are working for the Lord. Galatians 6:10 calls us to do good to everyone, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Events Team helps bring those principles together by organizing, preparing, serving, and welcoming people into our church family.

Our principle:

Every event is an opportunity to serve someone, build a relationship, and point someone toward Christ.

“Make the most of every opportunity.” — Colossians 4:5

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

“Let us do good to all people.” — Galatians 6:10

ONE CHURCH. MANY TEAMS. ONE MISSION.

We may serve in different ministries, but we serve one Lord.

Some teach.
Some pray.
Some cook.
Some protect.
Some maintain the grounds.
Some care for children.
Some organize events.
Some lead.

But every ministry matters because every ministry is an opportunity to serve Christ and serve people.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

At Three Rivers Cowboy Church, our desire is simple:

Know the Truth.

Defend the Truth.

Teach People to Live in the Truth.

And above all, do everything for the glory of God.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
